Preserved Orange Peel

Take a quarter of a pound of preserved orange peel and cut it in pieces about half an inch long, and not quite as wide are the first directions for the receipt (recipe) Millefruit Biscuits.  The gally pot was the storage vessel for the orange peel that had been preserved with sugar.
