Apples on Top

After a thick layer of finely crushed Rusk is sprinkled to cover the bottom of the Dutch Bake Kettle, the next step for the preparation of the receipt (recipe), To bake an Apple fritter, is to place the Apples on top.  The apples were sliced, cooked and mixed with beaten egg.
